First, a huge thank you to everyone who participated in the auction, whether you donated items, browsed our site, bid on packages, purchased raffle tickets or attended the live event. We are so very excited to share our preliminary numbers with you - this year we exceeded our goal again and grossed over $20,000. Although we still have to account for some expenses, we are so delighted that the event was a success again this year. A job well done by all!
Second, a special shout out to everyone who worked behind the scenes to make this such a successful fundraiser: Niki Abukusumo, Maria Laberteaux, Jane Regan, Erin Dawe, Silke Masullo, Michelle Smith, Maureen Westfall & Britta Ullrich. This is such an amazing group of women who were willing to jump in at any time - your talents were shining and you were incredibly fun to work with! Cheers to you!
Now for the fun part - distributing the packages to the winners and collecting payment. We will have all the auction packages at school in front of the media center starting Monday before pickup. We will be accepting payment in cash or check payable to Lawton PTO. Please try to get to school at one of the following times. If you cannot make it during one of these times, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to make arrangements. It is our hope to have everything delivered & paid for by the end of the day Friday, March 4.
